Default ABS delete questions brake lines an T piece

Hi All

Im about to embark on deleting the ABS out of my Version 5 STI track car.

To be honest its not something ive wanted to do, but my hand has been forced after experiencing the typical pad knock back and munching through a bearing or two every other track day.

Ive opted for upgrading the knuckles, bearings and hubs to the 5x114.3 off a widetrack car, AS Performance did the conversion work to 5x100 they drilled out and thinned the knuckle so it fits the suspension, they did an awesome job.

This has left me with no place to put the wheel speed sensors etc so time to delete the ABS i think.

Ive researched all over and have a solid plan how im going about it but a couple of questions have arrisen

Im going to T piece the 2 rear brake lines, does it matter what orientation the actual T piece is placed in there? As long as its 2 in 1 out it'll be fine?

Do the original brake lines bend easily? By hand or with a bending tool?

Im wanting to T the lines near the drivers seat and run to a bias valve with copper nickel type brake line, then back to the standard line heading to the engine and master cylinder if that makes sense.

Essentially just trying to make sure i have what i need before i start and hopefully create a neat and tidy install

Thanks

Found some good info and answers needed here

Only question now. Is it worth having the bias valve in cabin? Or is it a bit "set it and forget it" and put it in the engine bay?

ABS delete complete

Was actually quite easy

The original brake lines bend easily with a tool and i was able to direct them where i wanted.

i mounted the adjustable bias valve where the original bias valve was, figuring it will mostly be fit and forget. As i wont be adjusting for fuel loss etc whilst out on track.

Added bonus im able to put the air filter in the place where the abs system was, just got to get a bit of pipe to make up the pipework

Hi

No i retained the 2 port master and used T piece junctions to go to front and rears.

Not tried the car in anger yet but all feels good and the bias valve is working as intended
