Default brake calliper

im after some info on how to bleed the brake using the (nipple?) on the calliper, when pressing the brake pedal im still able to spin the passenger side front wheel by hand so im wondering if there is air in the brake line.

If there is, you'll feel it as a spongey brake pedal. When you press on it, it doesn't feel firm but goes down to the floor etc too easily and springs back when released.

My bet would be on your caliper being seized "off".

the pedal doesnt go right down, its quite firm, how can i test if its a seized caliper?

Jack the car up rob on the offending corner. Without the brake pressed, see if you can spin the wheel freely with the pedal released and held when the pedal is down.

Right................ Bleed routine (you'll need a 2nd person)
Fill the reserviour up to the top with DOT4 brakefluid.
Get someone to sit in the car.
Go to the furthest caliper from the reserviour (n/s/r)
Have your helper monkey pump the brake pedal about 15 times then keep the pedal pressed down firmly and to then notify you of the pedal being held down.
You then release the nipple and allow the fluid to escape.
Then redo the nipple up (after you see a good flow out of the caliper nipple)
Once the nipple is tightened you can have the helper release the pedal.
Repeat this process on every wheel/corner.
Do it in this order.
n/s/r
o/s/r
n/s/f
o/s/f
Dont forget to keep an eye on the level in the reserviour as you go along!

Remove wheel and pads, try getting someone to press the brake, and watch the pistons. If they don't move, it's seized.

If one piston moves but the others dont. Jam something between the piston and the disks. like a wooden hammer handle. then pump again. that will force the fluid pressure then onto the other pistons.

You can do this working around all the pistons to free them up if ur lucky.
