Scoobyworx are excellent at refurbishing brake calipers. They did mine after another well known brake "specialist " sent me an exchange pair of calipers that were more pitted than the ones that I had exchanged
; to add insult to injury, the "specialist " made me pay to return their shoddy work.
Scoobyworx refurbed my own calipers in the time that the other lot managed to do an exchange.

They look great!
(Sorry to hijack the thread) What did you do whilst they were off the car to stop the fluid leaking etc or did you just bleed the whole system?
I want to get mine refurbed soon

Just use hose clamps, although I got a local garage to do it as it keeps raining up here in Scotland....

Can they replace the pistons at an additional cost or do these not need replacing?

Just had a look at prices on their website, it seems they do it part of the refurbishment process.

They advised that the Subaru (sumitomo) 4pot calipers are more likely to corrode as the pistons are chrome plated steel and they replace them when refurbishing. But the brembo's very rarely corrode as they are alloy and they re-use the original pistons unless they are damaged.

Yeah I initially thought this as well due to the reconditioned caliper information page, but if you look on the brembo specific page they re-use the original pistons unless damaged.
