Default brake pads

the time has finally arrived need some new brake pads (all round) on my 2010 wrx sti saloon, any recommendations?

What are you using the car for? Normal use/fast road/track?

If you're not going hard then the PF Z will be a bit overkill. Brembos HP's as above will be fine

I believe both above options are r90 rated (not classed as a modification/road legal). I've never personally used the pf z pads, but they do get good reviews. The brembo hp2000 are good in my opinion and are OEM +, they're quiet and work from low temps, but will take a spirited drive. If you're just looking for standard pads the pagid ones from euro car parts are cheap get good reviews.

Thanks for the advice I think I will stick with the oem Brembos

The brembo hp2000 are a sports pad, I got mine from scoobyparts although price has gone up considerably, euro car parts sells standard brembo pads as well but I believe they aren't that highly thought of, the pagids get better reviews than the standard brembo pads. Pretty sure there's been a few threads on here about it.

if you drive your car around slowly yeah stick with the o.e Brembos,but if you want an upgrade and a better all-round brake pad compound then go with the PF/Z-rated pads.SJ.
