Wrx wagon tyre roar
Had my 2003 WRX Wagon a few months now, had a whirring noise on the back which I suspected was a wheel bearing, turns out the alignment was well out and caused the tyre to wear all on the inside edge and causing the noise. Anyway 4 new tyres and a 4 wheel alignment later the whir/roar seems to have moved to the front, wondering what could affect this? Possible bearing, droplinks or bushes? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

Can't remember the exact brand, they were a mid range tyre so not the best available they're not the worst. The alignment was done at the same garage, on a hunter machine to the specs that are given on that machine

The reviews say it's a quiet tyre - what are you comparing it to - previous vehicle and what exhaust have you got ?
Are the tyres the correct size ?

Only a stock exhaust, will be changed very soon though. Comparing it to my last 2 cars and they had no where near as much tyre roar as the Subaru, almost sounds like there's something broken like a hub or bearing

Thanks for the offer mate, gonna get the alignment rechecked at a different/more specialist garage. Having a quick look underneath over the weekend and both sets of drop links and roll bar bushes seem way past their best so gonna get them changed this week and see if that makes a difference with the alignment. Cheers though, just a long list of jobs getting longer haha
