Question about Tread Pattern
I have got my alloys refurbed from Mint Alloys in Bedfordshire about 2 weeks ago and was washing my car today and noticed that the tread pattern of the tyres are on opposite ways around from the left hand side when compared to the right hand side.
I was under the impression that you should have the tread pattern face the same way for both pair of tyres is this correct?

I'm in the tyre business, Dunlop Sportmaxx RT is an assymetric tyre which has an inside and outside. Somewhere on the tyre outside should be readable.
But when you look at the front left and front right tyre (or rear) you'll notice thes tend to point in a different direction but that's normal.

If you have asymmetric circumferential 'rain-clearing grooves' as part of the pattern, then as you look from the front (or rear of course), the grooves on both tyres should be mirror images of each other.
