Default BMW Mini Tyres

Hi All

The misses now has a second hand BMW Mini Cooper. The garage has put Goodyear Eagle tyres on the car. How do I know if these are run flat tyres or not?

My mini has Runflats. I don't see what peoples problem are with them?

RSC is BMW manufacture marking. Which means it's a OEM Runflat.

Good Years should also have the marking in the picture in addition to the RSC (unless it's an odd batch).

Ali, or anyone else for that matter, is it possible to tell me what other makes of car has a space saver that fits a 2006 mini cooper? I know the River 25 does.....

It'll be very hard to find anywhere that can guarantee good caliper clearance*, but checking bore, PCD and offset on this site would be a good place to start.

*Best bet for caliper clearance will probably be to find cars with all other wheel-specs matching, and then do a cross-reference on brake disc diameters.
