'04 blobeye track discs and pads
Hi,
I've got an '04 blobeye WRX but has the gold brembo's from the STi.
I could do with changing the front discs and pads and I'm keen to do a few track days, with that in mind, what do people recommend?
I've read that performance friction pads are good and the G-Hook discs?
While I'm at it I was going to uprate my fluid to DOT 5.1 is this worth doing?
Is it worthwhile changing to braided hoses too? If so what do people recommend? I've read HEL ones are ok?
Sorry for the massive post, I have read up a bit, but it would be good to get some solid advice.
Thanks

I have used Godspeed discs for years now since I was warping every make under the sun. Since using his discs I have not had any problems at all. I have recently just put on his G hook discs after using his grooved discs for several years. Both have been amazing.
Ive also tried several pads and performance friction always gets my vote. Quite dusty but brilliant for road or track use.
Fluid wise I've used several Dot's and different makes. Until now no problem but my new local airfield seems genuinely harsh and creates massive heat causing boiling of fluid. Im going to try the Mo.tul 660 and see how I get along.
Braided hoses I put on straight away so can't comment how different they are over standard but they are HEL (I used to live a few miles away from them) and have had no problems at all with them so from a quality stand point a thumbs up from me.
