Default tyre recommendations for new alloys

Buying a set of wheels for my 00 plate classic wagon
which are 18's and 8 inch wide with a et40 and wondering what
would be the best tyres to put on these wheel size wise also
any recommended brands aswell would be appreciated ☺

Uniroyal Rainsport 3's.
I just got 4 new RS 3's and have to say their dry and wet grip is great. about 80 quid a corner so not budget but not conti prices neither.

Inner Clearance:
4.05mm less
Outer Position:
extend by 34.05mm

Diameter difference:
1.02" (4.05%)

Ok im not very bright in this department but used the rim calculator and
none the wise if these wheels will fit ok. someone able to shed some light
for a simpltin
