Default Tyres size on 17" wheels
What's the biggest tyre you can get on a standard/ original subaru 17" alloy wheel??
I've got 215/45/17s on at the moment!

thats what i got, on my PF7s and my spare newage wrx wheels

car is lowered 40mm and doesn't catch

I'm assuming you mean newage wrx?

When I replaced my tyres I went upto 225/45/17 and they were fine.

I wouldn't go any wider than 225 as 215 is perfect for a standard rim especially if you want to lower the car and not worry about rolling the arches.

on a 7.5" rim the max you would go to is 225
