Default wheels for a wide arch GC8

Hi guys & girls

So, I'm putting this out there early as I like to do my homework and see if I can acquire my parts over time rather than in one go!

So, to this end, I'm after suggestions on which wheels to get to put on my GC8 2 door with a 22b kit fitted.
I'll be using the metal arches as fabricated by Metalshaper from this forum.

I'm thinking multi spoke with a bit of a lip but I'm open for suggestions

I'm thinking 17x8.5, 32 offset Works with a 255/40-17.
What do you think?

Many thanks

Go with the OE size 22B alloys.

My advice is go for wrc arches not the 22b items. Looks much better.
Fair play for going steel arches tho, not many do it properly

What do you mean by this Joe? Do you mean the depth of the arch or do you mean the size i.e. circumference??

Thanks, let's hope it turns out 'properly'

I've got some 17x8.25 ET 25 wheels and they're ideal in terms of filling the arches. The style obviously is not to everyone's taste but who cares.

The OEM 22B wheels are perfect for a 22b but on anything else, then they sit in too much and really need a lower offset.
