Default Tyre Size 18" Prodrive

I have a 2003 blobeye sti non widertrack so no dccd. Its on 18 oz prodrive wheels. Currently have 225/40r18. is it possible to squeeze a 235 section on these rims ??

I've got the same size wheel tyre combo as you and was wondering the same to give better rim protection. Using online tyre calculators a 235/40 isn't much different in circumference, works out closer in size to a 235/35 which are like hens teeth and are a Porsche tyre therefore cost a small fortune.

BBB3 was running 18" PFF7s with 235/40s on and didn't report any issues.

Did u go for the 235's in the end mate ???

I have the same wheels and about to buy a set of nankang ns2r tyres and would like the 235 profile if they fit without issues..

No i stuck with 225/40 rainsports. Let me know how u get on if u go down tht road cheers
