CADWELL PARK FULL CIRCUIT
I know it is near Xmas but does anybody fancy doing this track-day it is a full circuit open pit lane on the 3rd of Dec the cost is £139 car & driver additional driver £1 if your lass asks what you want for Xmas this is far more fun than a pack of boxer shorts although you may need them afterwords. If you are interested stick ya name down
Their is also Friday 24th November same full circuit open pit lane cost £99 this seems better value

I wish I still had my 309.....erm....I mean Scooby
I'd take the Corsa on there, but as I think it is the most uninvolving, unstable, underpowered and dangerous POS I've ever driven, maybe not

I'm supposed to be off to Cadwell on Saturday 11th November - £129 for full day open pit lane - with Javelin - see the following link: http://www.javelintrackdays.co.uk/tr...kdays.html#nov
Sorry to hijack the thread but is this of any interest - plenty of spaces left and would be good to have a few Scoobs to chase the 300BHP MGB! There's even a 309 if Dave is getting lonely.

Hi Stu
the Javelin days tend to be ok - having said that I have not been to Cadwell before.
However, if we can get a group to go along I am happy to pass on any advice for novices etc. It can be a bit daunting at first, but trust me once you get up to speed on a full race track you will not get the grin of your face.

Stu,
Javelin track days are excellent I have done loads with them, as Dave said it's also a great track with long sweaping bends up and down the valley, very well organised....and yes you pay on the web site.
Might even make it myself

I'll keep an eye on this thread,
Cadwell is fairly local to us guys from Cleethorpes n Grimsby.
I've watched quite a few trackdays over the last couple of years and usually taken pictures.
I've been around it in a 400 bhp Mitsi which was excellent, especially when I had to stop myself from throwing up.
It would be good to see a load of Scoobies on the track.
For the guys that have not been it is a narrow circuit and fairly unforgiving of mistakes, but the circuit layout is excellent most people into trackays seem to go out of their way to come back a few times a year.
Anyway I'll be looking forward to seeing you guys there.

As you know I am paid up for the 11th Novemeber, with John Cass also likely to be there.
Glad to have any WYIOC folks there. Just need to spend a bit of time on TOCA to learn the track. I always get excited/nervous before a track day or road rally. I also have set-ups to try on the car, and by all accounts Cadwell is a great drivers circuit - so looking good.

Cadwell is great - but very scary.
It took me ages to get upto speed on it, but when I did I really enjoyed it.
Not much run off in some areas and some areas are very fast, but lots to keep you interested.
