Hey all,

Who do you guys use in the West Mids for wheel refurbing? Looking to get the completely standard gold done on a set of STi alloys I picked up for my STi.

WMI use 1st Class alloys in Lichfield (ex lab tab)

Cheers guys. It seems most places do literally just powdercoat from what I can see.

A family friend of mine owns the below and am seeing him tomorrow, he just seems to think that the gold I want is a bit too bright? Suppose I'll find out when I get there tomorrow.

where abouts in the west midlands are you mate as ive done a few in the proper gold 2000m pouers rous gold and they look very good in paint and clear which on my own have lasted over 2 years with no pealing issues and shine better than powder coat also.

I'm in Birmingham. How much do you charge per wheel? Tyres are already taken off.

SteveoSTi I think he charges about £35 per rim, full powdercoat, but you have to get the tyres taken off before hand.

They don't look to bad but that is apic lol,is there any corrosion on them mate?
Are you looking to have them in that colour there in now?

They look worse around the edges, some are worse. No corrosion bubbling that I can see.

Yup definitely want them that colour. Factory gold. Have you any pics of the finish you're referring to?

Ill take a pic of mine tomoz mate and post it up,myn are the earlier pale gold as mine are speeldine prodrive alloys but you'll get the idea

Ok thanks.

I've been to see my mate who owns Bournes Powdercoating and he's made a special gold for me, so is going to do one of the wheels so I can see how I feel about it. Seeing as he's doing it cheap for me, why not

Well I dropped them off this morning, and apparently they're ready
