it was me, an ex equanter now working for one of their
joint ventures with a well known financial information
services company, I was just visiting.
Use to be one of a small group of scooby drivers at equant (at least 4-5 in the car park at one time)

I think I know who you mean!
There are still a few Scooby owners left at Equant - a few MY00's (couple of saloons and a wagon) and 3 (I think) new MY01's (incl mine).
Was it nice to visit - or were you pleased that you left?!!

Davyboy, its changed a lot since i transferred two years ago, so not sure who it is.
Chris, used to be at equant (network services) during the early days of startup (92), new company is very much the same.
Scooby count before I transferred two years ago was
SD team x 2 Silver saloon 98S, and DBM saloon
Sales - DBM saloon (it was trashed within a month and it got rebuilt)
IT - 1 x saloon and 1 x wagon
Heard scoobies might be off the company car list, any truth in that
I am there now and again so you may see it around, by the way, a very nice looking EVO in the visitors park before xmas, did u see it

Since the merger with Global 1 in June 2001 things haven't been as good as they should. A lot of the G1 guys seem to think they have got a poor deal (i.e. their pay was better, better bonus and commission, better co. cars etc) and they've got a point. So I think there is still some way to go to get things sorted! Certainly that is the feeling within Pre-Sales (where I work).
Didn't see the Evo though
Yes, it is true Scoobs are off the Co. car list (use too much petrol) along with Alfa's because of poor reliability. I was lucky enough to at least get a petrol card, so I make full use of it!

I was an ex presales type in equant for many a year, worked for
mark akass at the euma level (general gopher) before it became PS and the NS/IS integration and then run small consultancy team.
One of the old shapes belongs no doubt to Tiggs in the MIS group, give him my compliments and ask him if he has bent it lately

I'm in Pre-sales, so I look after about 6 accounts - mostly in the oil and gas industry. I do the initial network design and presentation to support the sales guys. Most of my work is data related, but I do get involved in voice aswell. My specialisation is Security and I'm spending more of my time on that now.

I work for an IT services company and have done work at Equant in the past.
Was with one of your Scoob owners just over a month ago in Rennes, France for a week. Still waiting for him to come up't north and take my STi7 for a spin
