Question

Spoken to the old owner of this car before, seen it in Lancasters at Sevenoaks today....just wondered why he'd gotten rid of it.

Mega...its Andy O's P1. Saw it at Lancasters on Saturday. I gather he's now got an STI type UK .

You can't do anything in the Scooby society without everyone knowing!!!!!

Decided to join the 21st century - 4 doors, 6 speed box, better build quality, better handling- no stone chips, no juddering clutch more aggressive looks and most important - Prodrive performance pack to come!!!!!!! :-)

!st service tomorrow so we will see what the car can really do at the weekend!!!!!!

Andy

Well, technically it wasn't him, which was why I didn't post in Was It You

Must say that I'm very impressed with Andy's STi. The pictures do not do the prodrive version justice, suffice to say I was dead against the prodrive one until I saw Andy's very, very nice.

Oh, and I'm very jealous as well

Let us know how it goes after the service, as I know you were rather impressed with it as it stood.

Cheers Markus,

After very careful running in the engine feels like it's straining at the leash! You can feel the power there ready to be used but obviously it is not as quick as the P1 ( yet)
The handling is much more secure and turn in on slow corners , roundabouts is awesome! no scrubbing of speed or understeer just point and go. Front diff takes bit of getting used to on bad surfaces it does tramline more than other cars but the benefit in turn in and handling far outweighs that. Th front suspension/ build quality is far superior the car doesn't feel like it's going to shake to pieces on bad surfaces.
The P1 when compared to STI in my view now looks old and too 'pretty'

Ps PPP will give it 300-330 bhp dependent on who you believe!
