Mark,

I don't think many 'new age' Scooby drivers are very tuned into ScoobyNet and the whole waving thing....I wave at loads of people and they all look at me like I'm a loon

What'ya doing in Reading?

Seemes a lot of people are sensible and live elsewhere and only visit the Armpit of Britain if they have to...

You don't have friends down here do you? I'm trying to get in touch with a UK300 driver who cruises down my road from time to time....

Timbo,

Just visiting for work. I was in and out in 1 1/2 hours so I'm not the UK300 you're looking 4.

At least I get about £100 in expenses for driving there and back

As MY01 owner I have to agree a waving MY01 owner is a rarity

Unhappy

I think most MY01's come fitted with a Subaru approved cloaking device, these are especially powerful on the UK300's that no-one sees.

In six months of all the scoobies I've seen, I've had a wave from one old shape and one from a new shape.

Don't bother anymore, feel like a **** doing it.

It's not because you drive like a slug, it's because they think your in limp home mode.......When I was doing a fuel economy experiment ie keeping below 3k rpm. So many people pulled over & asked if i was ok, I just smiled & put my thumbs up. I couldn't open the windows due to the drag coefficiency affect.....

But I managed 38 mpg & at best 42!!! I'm now back to 20 odd....

Wow 38mpg! That's almost what I get in my Corsa (averaged out).

I'm very impressed. So what speed were you doing on dual-carriageways to keep it below 3k rpm?
