A34 Congleton to Monks Heath 3.45pm
The award for "The most ridiculous, stupid and dangerous overtaking manoeuvre in a Black WRX wagon" goes to:
The driver of DG**EPP.
Well done mate! Hope you are proud!
If it wasn't for the quick thinking of the toyota corolla driver in front of me, myself and the driver (i didn't see what type of car) coming the other way, then you would most certainly be in hospital with the Police waiting by your bedside to do you for dangerous driving.
For those of you who weren't there, this guy decides to overtake me AND the Toyota I was following around the outside of a slight left hand bend. The light was failing, it was p155ing down and the road was flooded in many places with standing water everywhere else. I don't think the maddest of bikers would have gone there, even in the dry and especially with cars travelling in the opposite direction in sight.
What makes me laugh is that the Corolla pulled over shortly after this impatient (or perhaps show-off) display and I caught up easily due to there being another line of cars further down the road (to be expected on such a busy road).
There was no need for such a crazy overtake at that point of the road and somebody out there should be thinking himself lucky not to have become one of the first statistics of 2007.
*End of rant*
