if you stuck your arm out of the car and waved then it could have been you, just passing the car wash. i was driving along talking to a colleague at the time so don't remember the details (could possibly have been a classic - think i noticed something different about the front though and had assumed this was mesh fog lamp covers/oricari grille or something)
the town is full of non-wavers except for a handful of people - dark green classic with gold wheels (often seen up near sainsburys) - the couple driving that always wave; blue stickered-up sti (03?) in the next road to me, again the couple driving that always wave but haven't seen them for a while.

i'm not sure about the mesh/grille - that's just what i thought i saw
the green with gold wheels always wave, it's the people in suits driving company cars that aren't usually as sociable [flame suit on. my car's my own but i do wear a suit for work!...and i did say usually...]. then there's the guy with the matt black classic which i have to say looks very good. obviously spent some money on it and he clearly loves his car - he's not very sociable though!

saw the ppp at tescos on mon lunchtime i think.
i know there are a lot of ESC members out there who are very sociable, but i tend to be on the road more during the day than evenings and weekends so don't usually see the more sociable people.
murphy - just realised from your homepage which car is yours! - wasn't you i saw, it was a dark blue car

i hate these dam locking nuts seems although they are a good deterent they always shaft you when u need them most to come out and then end up having as u say drilled out or cut off.
Hope all went ok for ya.
As someone said i also agree on the matt blakc classic not keen on his spoiler though. The car itself i see almost daily in the stalpes car park in town opposite riverside. (The are i work in)
I am still shocked by the numbers of people that drive scoobs in chelmsford alone.

Well i have not had mine that long and around chelmsford have only had one or two acknowledgements but i did just come back from holiday after 2 weeks and found an extreme scooby bag on my windscreen with an air freshener...... very nice to. So someone has obviously spotted me. Did also have a dark blue classic follow me off boreham slip road this morning but i was on my R6 and needed to get to work...
