Default Chesterfield (No sigtings of the holy Toast) :(

Silver classic wagon with red rims near the Highfield

Blue WRX near Curries

Blue STI (Maybe two of them - I was walking to the car when one passed me when I looked up another was parking near me, the same? Who knows!)

Silver Classic new Yeomens

Black Blob on the estate above Sheepsbridge

No sign or smell of Toast. I guess the High Priest was in bed.

Thats because my poor baby (the car, before anyone complains) is sat on the drive covered in newspaper and masking tape being touched up !

Felt horrible grinding the rust off yesterday, like I was some sort of big nasty dentist. Hopefully she should be looking presentable by the meet on sunday, certainly much better than having patches of rust everywhere!

Cover it in mud dear boy! Then no one can see the rust.

Be prepared for my nephews car though, it will put you all to shame!

Just taken the paper and sheets etc of the car, I know you're meant to leave the paint for several days before cutting it in but at the moment it looks very slightly more creamy than the actual colour of my car......only put the last coat on 45 mins ago so do you think when it has dried properly it will be a bit whiter? F*ckin halfords colour-matching!!

Talking

Don't mention the unholy H word. We do not venture near that place of non Toast worshipers.

If you are having a problem I can introduce you to a friend of mine on Sunday. He is at one with the toast and will match the colour for you.

Well evening chaps/chapesses. Although I've had possesion of a scoob to day it was a loan car form our local franchised dealer - our gerts motor in for its 1st year service (purchased just before the EU ruling on warranty tie ins!!, bugger!)

So mine has been parked up at the hospital all day while the good lady has been earning a crust, save for a short journey up to the clinic when I briefly swapped cars to get Kev to take a gander at my crab like motion to the left when driving, even after geometry set up last week. Wasted journey as all their hands were on deck installing a new road - roilling type!

So if you've seen a silver (it had to be didn't it?) 'R' reg 2.0 GL Impreza wandering aimlessly around Chesterfield, t'was I.

If you saw mine with a lady driving it, she was under strict instructions to wave back! She doen't usually in hers 'coz nobody seems to wave to her GXSport.

Chop out the bit about the 2.0GL and whats the difference from usual!

Think we need a Max spotting plan High Priest. Let us stare into the Toast and see what it tells us.

You cheeky focker

You'll not see me much round Chesterfield in th e week as I'm leaving about 7:15 and don't return 'til 5:30. Maybe when it's lighter or over the weekends.
Mind you have just had two days off so I'm up to the clinic gain to show 'em me "look no hands turning a corner" routine to see what they can make of it.

'Bout time you found the paintwork on yours isn't it Mr. Ubik? It'll be turning in to a green bug eye soon with all the vegatation growing on it. Rumour has it that you've hired a gangmaster to harvest the crop of spuds from the rear bumper

Max,

Yes its true, I am cultivating bread fruit on the rear bumper for the furthering of the holy quest.

I can only be seen briefly whizzing into work between 7am / 8:30 and back home after 6. Never know might spot you one day.

I will still be driving the poo mobile on Sunday. Lunch times go like this: wash car or gym, wash car or gym.......gym it is!

In fact by Sunday my car will have grown moss. All I need is a water feature and a bench.

Haven't your recent suspension mods made it feel like a bench when driving along

Its not that that makes it, its the old dears with blue rinse sitting on the bonnet discussing the soaps that give me the impression of a park bench.

I keep shouting "get out of the way I can't see where I am going".
