Right you lot (Swindon Scoob owners)
Every weekend I'm out and about in a variety of cars doing what I do, so many cars yet so few waves, there are loads of us in and around Swindon so there MUST be some up for a meet, I keep my eyes open but in three years of Swindon living only came across one meet by accident, so whose up for one ... I live very close to the Manor Farm in Hayden Wick ... any other suggestions ? ... "outsiders" would be more than welcome. A Sunday would be the best for me however ...
Bob (getting fed up with not being able to enjoy his Scoob(s)
cheers

hi bob
theres an andover meet, usually the last sunday of the month - keep an eye out in southern theres one coming up
IIRC its only 30 min drive tops from swindon, besides i need to chat about STi5 & remaps
otherwise, if you organise one around swindon, ill pop up, its only 20 mins from me.
You havnt got a silver sti5 have you, saw one in swindon monday just gone.

I'd be up for a meet Bob, have wanted to ask you about tuning options for a while anyway
I'm based in Highworth (N.Swindon), and there's a few others near me. Saw a Terzo drive past my house yesterday, he might be local too...

I saw several yesterday (Sunday)
White classic with black graphics on Victoria hill - got a flash
Blue STI8 on the Swindon to Highworth road - got a wave
Green classic - debadged boot, young driver on the magic roundabout - no wave
I am in a Green classic with STI 5 spoiler and Lexus lights if you ever see me then wave

As I enjoy the roads from my place to Swindon (only 30 miles), I'd be tempted to join you if you hold a meet at a date that suits.
Much as I hate to agree with Beamer - it's a matter of principle - the scoobyzone crowd often meet not that far away from Swindon and are generally a friendly lot, albeit a bit strange on occassions

I'm up for a meet as well. The last one I managed to get to was about 4 years ago
Sunday is probably best for me as well... (although not this month)

Am in Gloucester, but GF lives in Stratton so am often in Swindon (especially at weekends)...
My (WR Blue for a change) MY03 STi, with a few tweaks and all round tints, and I would be glad to meet up anytime around Swindon - and even if I'm not there will happily drive from Glos.
Was only hammering around Dorcan and Greenbridge earlier today actually..... generally making a noise and being a hooligan. Good roundabouts!
