It wasn't very slippery, seemed ok. I think marv was the only one out of our lot that managed to spin his wheels

Had same problem with MY99 uk lightly modded. Want to wait until its a bit more grippy out there before I go again.

Hi guys
I was there today as well.
I was the silver MY99 going against my mate in a black Toyota GT4
My first time down the strip so was quite pleased with my 13.713 quarter with 100 mph terminal speed.

BTW the guy who i was talking to with the well modded bugeye STi in the que, nice car mate, wish i had enough spare dosh to do half that stuff to my car.

Danny Boy.

It was deffinetley not small, Put it that way! anybody know who he is? didn't get a chance to ask a name as we had to move on the que quite quickly.
If i remember rightly i saw him run a high 12 seconds and he said the clutch was slipping and the engine was only just run in!

Cltuch slipping? His wheels were the ones slipping. It was setting off alarms left right and centre in the hotel. Yeah he was dissapointed with the time. His tyre pressure was set really low just to get traction but it didnt work.

Unhappy

Yes - got tired of the fuel bills I think. Bought himself a Peugeot 406 diesel!

I was going to run on the day but the car is just not right. Moody as hell - loadsa power one minute then nothing the next. Don't know whats wrong yet but worried it might be fueling and don't want to melt any pistons!

Yeah I know... Sometimes I'm a real tosser
Look forward to meeting you all next time... might even get to give my car a run! Probably do high 13s or low 14s...

I believe PaulEDS did do a couple of runs with this car and a dyno run or two but unfortunately I never got to find out the figures...

Cheers
