Well done, hats off, single lane north bound through hindehead, and all you could do was try to become a feature of the back of my WRX...

I wasn't driving, my other half was, thanks for making her feel uncomfortable behind the wheel!

You deserve whats coming to you!

And similar comments go to the idiot in the vectra that was following me south bound earlier in the day on the A3, where the f*** am I s'posed to go if there are cars infront and to the side, especially as I too am waiting (at a safe distance, unlike you) for the merc infront to pull after a queue of traffic!

Hats off to you both

Question

Can I join in?

Blue Mondeo, driven by baseball cap, and green 406 driven my a middle age female near Bearsden driving range, one in each direction this lunch time.
I would appreciate it if you could leave a gap of more than 1 1/2" to my bumper, just on the off chance that I do have to brake at some point in the 30 limit. When I do ease off signal to the left, pull over and brake to let you past, any chance you could just drive past me, rather than slow down, and half follow me before realising you don't atually want to stop there

Maybe it's something to do with TT's ?
A w@nker driver in Southampton.. I don't care that it's a Quattro.. (and a Z3 last night !)

It's because of incidences like this, that make me wonder it having the scoob is more hassle than it's worth, just recently it's been a real t*sser magnet !

Chilled now mate...

My other half doesn't drive the scoob much, so is nervous anyway (to a degree) because she knows its breaks are better and it is fast.. Kinda takes the enjoyment away for her when people do this!

But I'm calm now, just had to let off steam...

Haven't Impreza Turbos always attracted other cars driven by w*nkers?

For the first couple of my seven plus years of ownership, most hadn't a clue what a Turbo was and thought they could pass it without a second glance. Then around 1996 as most of the UK woke up to the car, every Tom, Dick and XR3 owner decided they had to prove their car was as fast.

Boring...

Hi Robertio

Yeh, them old signs don't mean a thing. Go on, just do what ever spead you feel like! .

Some idiot came screeming up behind me today, on a dual carriage way. The lane next to me was clear for overtaking, but he insisted on sitting 3ft from my bumper, and this was at 40mph. I just slowed down to five miles per hour and totaly humilliated the guy, forcing him to overtake! Then with some trick hand jestures, made sure the guy knew what he was. You could say that I could have planted it when he was overtaking, but what's the point. That's what he would have wanted.
