I was behind a red 4dr N*** VSO at the King George IV r/about this morning and noticed that the passenger brake light was not working. Just thought I would point it out to you, whoever you are!!!

just thought I'd say Hi...

I'm not the Scoob you saw but I'm an Aberdeen Scooby driver. Theres a lot nice machinery up our way but not many owners seem to say hi or check scoobynet out.

Mine's a 96 'N'- Series McRae (N***XSO), I usually wave to fellow Scoobs on the road if I see them

What's yours like and I'll be on the lookout!!

Hiya Ricco,

Yes that was me.
How are you doing?...Invested in that exhaust yet? I've been pricing up a few options in that area myself. Thinking of a ScoobySport or Prodrive system.

Have you got a dump valve on yours? And does it make much difference?

Offshore at the moment, so I've plenty of PC time.

Yeah, I've got a Blitz NUR spec on order... Hoping it'll be here tomorrow

I've got a Bailey DV fitted, can't really say it improves performance but then I only bought it for the noise anyway

i also have a 96 'N' series Mcrae, but alas it is missing its interior numbered series Mcrae plaque(careless previous owner)-were should this plaque sit and what text is on it. I think mine is number 25 but am struggling to find any history on it. i would appreciate any assistance.
regards MJEC

If you go into a Subaru dealer, you'll be able to buy a new one. They will need Chassis number etc to be faxed to HQ though

Hiya,

The plate is just above the gator for the gear shifter, on the panel just below the cig lighter and ashtray.

Cheers

There must be loads of Scooby drivers in and around Aberdeen that know nowt about Scoobynet, shame really, if they knew about it it might bring the miserable gits out of there shell a bit. I always wave to fellow drivers in Aberdeen and most of them just ignore me. There was a guy on Friday morning in a blue 4dr outside the College pub waved at me but I think that was cos I let him past a bus!!!!!! At least it was a wave and a wee smile.

There doesn't seem to be too many female drivers about though (unfortunately).Although I was waved at by a blonde in a blue scooby last week and was told off (by passenger) for missing her (sorry if that was You Lou). That was at the mini roundabout just heading into Dyce.

Theres a few of us scoobys that work round there but as you say, Most of them are miserable.

Red face

I think it's the general opinion that hardly anyone in Aberdeen waves, i don't even think that is shortage of people on Scoobynet, probably more like an abundance of people who are not

Don't know if that really makes sense

got to agree with ricco on this once - I always wave at Jules, Miles, JohnS, Infinity (POSER!, boyner and anyone else I know but will admit to reserving waves for people that I don't know as their partners get miffed if people wave at them and they don't know who it is

Keep on waving!

Bloody farmers... I guess not many of us are natural born Aberdonions then? I'm certainly not, as my work mates like to remind me (auld enemy blah...). Must have been an expensive world cup for them though having to buy all those shirts!!!

He He!!!!

Remember, that Aberdonians are a bunch of grumpy bastids.

Incidentally, the HR woman at work has a silver 5dr (Grr) MY99, which she describes as "a good workhorse".
