Bullets maybe not, but a simple cast piston and rod has no trouble

Just the fact that it says it's a bad boy wagon is enough to put me off, never mind the fact that i'd never buy a car of someone that couldn't spell brakes properly, oh yeah and it's a cat c, super.

I wasn't posting it to slate it, honest ;(
The 2.5's if mapped well seem to be doing well, I've seen a few at 400/450 have/are still fine.
However if you said to me:
"name something mechanical on a Subaru that's bullet proof". I would reply: the nearest is a 6 Speed Gearbox.
"name me something mechanical on Subaru that's weak", I would reply: 2.5 engine or 5 speed 2001-2005 gearbox.

Weakest mechanical thing on a Subaru "2.5 engine and a 5 speed MY99/00 turbo 2000 gearbox" and a MY99/00 Maf sensor!!
Im running a standard STi 2.5 bottom end at 380/412, think it might be on borrowed time though!!!
