Fixed or the one with the slider there are two types?

 

Dunno i can only see 1 type on his website.
Whats the diffence?

 

The one currently shown on Carl's website was designed to allow the fitment of a standard size alternator and as such has a slider mechanism to allow the alternator to be adjusted back and forth to make sure the belt run is straight.
The first one was designed to fit the small light weight denso alternators and are fixed.

Alyn at As Performance has produced one that fits a standard alternator pic below. its not the best shot of the bracket but shows Alyn's in situ without the alternator fitted. It comes with everything needed to fit it including an adjustable rod with spherical bushes to adjust the belt tension.

Yeah i need to rotate the standard alternator with the slider tensioner.

Do you know how much alyn sells them for?
