I'VE BEEN LOOKING INTO THIS FOR AGES, BUT JUST NEVER GOT ROUND TO DOING ANYTHING ABOUT IT FOR LONg enough.

I want to include a cut off switch and a few fuses along the way, but not sure where the cut off switch would wire into.
Heres a link to fitting a relocation, you may have already seen it.

hi mate,

ive seen that link before, its a really good guide and by the sounds of it, you want to do your relocation kit the same way as mine with cut off switch etc.

im actually thinking of just getting the batter relocation kit out of a bmw and using that, they also come with terminals att he front so you can jump them from the from if need be.

not sure if anyone has used one of those kits before?

we dont have any kits in but we do have a light weight small compact battery with api billet clamp that will go nice with the kit for 40quid but i did my own relocation kit as couldnt find anywhere that did a full kit i went down to our local audio place and brought 4meters of heavy duty power wire and same on the earthing cable a few eyelets for the ends and away i went a cut off switches are around 10 quid from a motor part dealer so works out very cheap that way folks

how many days do these lightweight small batterys last? not sure if it'll be good for my needs as the car is parked sometimes for at least 3 days. might be worth me sticking to standard size
