Default GEARBOX WANTED (WITH DIFF MAYBE)

Hi all had a run of bad luck and in need of a gearbox. Fitted one last friday (a 3CA ) and it only last a week. Dont know how coz i only running 300bhp. Car is a uk wagon with sti CDB . Ratio needs to be 4.111 to save me changing diff. Would like CAA 4.444 with diff if poss .PM me if you might be able to help. Thx Gav

Very cheap mate. Wanted one with strengthened 3rd gear.Just put in a 3ca box last week and it gone already (3rd gear)

Admittedly would be a cheap way out but dont wanna do at all again next week lol. Thanks anyway and if i get proper stuck I might take your offer.

from what i could read on my gearbox the code is bca? from a b3 sti. great condition and every gear is perfect.

£275 + postage or can arrage to meet half way for a fee

yeah i have just been searching now for a chart to match the number as i think i havent read it properly. maybe you could check the chart and tell me which one i have

this is what i copied but its slightly wrong.

y752vbcaa so i think the c is wrong and should be a number

(oh and this is definately out of a v3 sti. i was running 325 bhp, 325ft lb. the car was not driven like i stole it and have never been on track )

Thats the one mate caa on end but i will need diff to so how much for both bits and postage ps wot area are you Gav

what diff do you need. front or rear? i live in cardiff mate but can meet half way to save on postage provided some fuel costs are cover (diesel power )

Rear diff 4.444 ratio matching one from car gearbox come from.Front diff is inside gearbox isnt it???

yes mate front gearbox is complete with front diff. do yourequire the sti drive shafts for the back as well?

dont think so! Are they different then.I thought all drive shafts were the same on classics, might be wrong?

Oh didnt know that. Who much posted for all of it. been offered boxes by 3 differnt people (including yourself) just hoping to save a few quid if poss. Only been a week since last gearbox change....OUCH!!!

i was looking for £275 for gearbox. and £200 for diff and shafts. lets call it. £450 for all?delivery all depends on where your based if your still interested?
