Cheap 2ltr CDB ??
Pele, unless you are going for upwards of 500bhp then you dont need a CDB in my opinion.
This is backed up by various people running standard EJ20 blocks up to that level, standard sti2.5s beyond that level.
Its turning out to be scoobynet myth number 753 that you need cdbs, save your money.
of course if you want 600 plus then go for it

It was more for peace of mind and the fact the car will get a tough life on the track, just wanted to take precautions beforehand

That's some cracking advice from Peanuts.
You'll be fine with your stock block if you're not going for 500bhp+
The walls on the stock block are fairly thick.
Would still be interesting what Hudson wants for his block though as I may want to have a spare incase my 2.5cdb goes **** up.

more and more people are pushing the stadard OE stuff further and further to more and more success imo and long may it continue
LOL No mate not at all.
I have no problem with an OE open deck block upto around 450-500bhp. I'd rather go for 500+ out of a stock open deck 2.0L than i would on a stock semi closed 2.5L block. That's based purely on liner thickness.

Why cant you just say how much you want for it?
I'm considering buying it, let me know how much you want to part with it.
That's far easier than all this cloak and dagger make me an offer nonsesnse!!
you live in anticipation that someone will offer you over the odds
i wanted 200 but i think it will be more like 150 so if some will pay
150 english pounds
it will be a deal. otherwise it will sell on ebay for whatever.
