Default cheap Solution

Take the re circ pipe iff the factory recirc valve, bung up the end of the pipe you take off so you don't get un metered air into engine and bobs your uncle. You get a DV designed by subaru that won't keak under boost, and sound as good as a DV. Thats all ive done with my standard recirc valve on mine!!! IF you think it boll*cks, try it!

Was that a reply to my post?

If you fit any aftermarket D/V it won't idle properly, it always makes them idle rough.

Thats why the opinion on dumpvalves varies.

If you want noise and wooshing, but suffer poor idle and the possibility of damagin your engine due to it running lean because meterd air escapes, then crack on.

IMO don't fit a DV unless you HAVE to like me. If i didn't have to have one, id still be running with my recirc valve!
