i use a maplins one....... total cost with external temp probe,bezel cover and delivery £14...... simple wiring mod to allow it to sample every second,not backlit but runs off 1 AA battery that lasts approx 1 year in use....... works a treat

my mate has done the above mod also looks good as its a little lcd screen and easy and cheap to do
