Default JDM STI8

Hi Damian,

Outside my budget I'm afraid, love the colour though.

Cheers,

Mark.

You'll be lucky to find a top spec and top condition 'GL' like the car mentioned by Damian above for less money.

Ian's car is well sorted and has a fair few pounds worth of extras that more than balance out the extra over your budget. In fact the CD/DVD would be the best part of the extra money. Let alone the remap, geo, speakers, wheels etc.

If I didn't already have one I would buy that car at that price in a hearbeat. A bargain IMHO. They are a very well sorted and sought after machine.

Nathan..

BTW I don't know Ian, other than from helping him with some advice when he bought his car. I just think it's an excellent price for a great car.

Hi Nathan,

Ian’s car did initially interest but it was well outside my budget and he wasn’t prepared to move on price, which I fully understood taking into account the age, spec and all the goodies.

I am in fact sorted now as today I bought a silver JDM STI 8 from DH Cars. Will be picking it up later in the week, cant wait!

Cheers,

Mark

Do you mean an MY03 or an MY02.
Remembering that after the STi 6 there was no other numbering, if you go with the numbering then an 8 would be an MY02 (gets confusing as people say the latest uk cars are sti8's where they are infact just an MY number and type uk as the models differred).
If its a twin scroll JDM car then your on a roll as these are the bee's knees (Nathan will tell you that also )
If its an S202 then your one lucky sod as these were 320ps from the factory
If its a bug eye..... well, they aint that bad

LOL @ Tony,

It's a MY03 jap import (f***ing indicators are on the right) so I guess that makes it an STI 9 then

Whatever it is its got a twin scroll and goes like a bat outa hell

If you think it goes like a bat outa hell now, let Darth Rawle tweak it for you.

Things become very interesting indeed

Hmmm, Darth Rawle tweaked my last spaceship to great effect, unfortunately this one is still under warranty so I will have to wait me thinks.

I did happen by that thread some time ago, very interesting.

That's one of the great things about these cars. Once you've got used to or bored with your cars performance you can completely upgrade it with a remap or better brakes or bigger wheels or better springs and dampers or ........ I guess you're only limited by the size of your cheque book, & mines looking very thin now
