Hullo!
I've got a slightly-narrower-than-DIN sized DVD player, which plays DVD's, VCD's, mp3 DVD's, mp3 CD's and CD's. It's currently running in my Legacy with an Alpine IVA-M700R head unit (looks the mutts )
I've also got a Peripheral Vision PLCD64 6.4" TFT screen, which could be built into pretty much anything.
I'd be looking for £350 for the pair, if that's any interest?

The DVD player is DIN-sized, but doesn't have its' own display at all. It's reliant on whatever screen you use to display all the info/piccies.
In terms of what's displayed, when you put a DVD or VCD in, the film plays (obviously ). When you put an mp3 CD (or DVD) in, you get a Explorer-style selection, to allow you to browse directories and the like.
Does that make sense? If not, let me know and I'll take some pics and work out how the hell I post 'em!!!!

Sorry - been out all day shopping (ugh - hate sales shopping ) Still, got a suit, so I can't complain
Will sort out some pics, but it's not going to be for a couple of days. Don't give up on me!

Got a nearly new Panasonic DVR909 for sale, with a 6" screen (Necvox) the head unit is exactly Din size, it plays DVD's CD's and has all the usual head unit functions ie: RDS,TA, about 30 radio presets.
One unique feature of this unit is it has a centre speaker attached to it which is motorised and makes a hell of a difference to the speech sound, when playing DVD's. I have all the boxes and instructions and remote controls, as I bought all this brand new about 4 months ago.I took it out of my old car a while ago and, My scoob came with Alpine ICE so I won't be fitting this to it.
looking for £450.00 ono
Check up it cost a shed load more than this new.
Cheers

Sorry 'bout the delay (too busy partying 'n fixing up my camper!)
Think I've got some pics now - hope this works!!!!
This is the DVD player (the silver one, underneath the aircon unit) It's about 1cm narrower than DIN size, so I used little slivers of MDF, covered in insulating tape (don't knock it - it works!) to widen it to DIN size. Then, it just bolts in as normal
It comes with a remote which does almost all the work - only the very basic controls are on the DVD itself
The screen is below - it's a 12V supplied unit, with built-in brightness controls (round buttons on the top)
DVD and CD displays are pretty obvious. The mp3-navigator is shown (badly ) below
Interested? Let me know
