Default Type r front windscreen

Hi all,
I'm after a type R or type ra windscreen (the slightly thinner brown one) I don't want any replicas or the normal classic windscreen. I have a crack in mine due to a violent brick on the motorway and my mot is due.
If anyone can help please drop me a text on 07794543167 as I am not able to get on here as much as I'd like to. Thanks.

The thinner brown one you wont get from your insurance. Highly doubt it. you can get a normal windscreen with a brown tint.

dont thonk the original windscreen is actually thinner, just a different tint. Correct me if im wrong though

Aye that is true. However with import's it can be a bit hit and miss.

i personally think the RA and type R windscreen's are the same thickness as there made the exact same as other's. Just with the non standard brown tint

The type r has thinner glass over the standard saloons from what I've read about ect... Don't want to just put any window in different colour glass shows up loads anyways so it's a no go for that

I wish somebody would measure some standard vs ra glass I think it will all be the same personally.
How much thinner could the actually make it?

All classics have the same thickness glass. The only difference in the screens is the tint on some models.
