agreed it a good one for sure!

other local clubs are attending,
1. is anyone else from here going?
2. I have use of a private car park in Chepstow, maybe we could all meet there afterwards (including the other clubs) at say 4:30? It will be on most peoples way home, good chippy around the corner

I was going to go to that but I'd already volunteered to go on a unit at the Wyedean before the Group B club decided on a date.

No you're not.

The Group B day has been cancelled due to the weather.

The Wyedean however is most definitely still on.

Looking forward to this.

Is there a better sound than a rally car in the forest ?

Why all the delays Matt?

I'll bet they had a few fallen trees to deal with after last night.

One delay was the below link but as for why the later delay i'm not sure.

http://instagram.com/p/kcpwd4xL1k/

What i think got people slightly bored was the running order of cars. It Started with the BTRDA 1400 class (very slow) and i know they have to start somewhere but could of started with clubmans and tailed off into this class followed by classics and the bigguns. This would of kept people interested and actually watching the rally.

The 2 stages i went too, stage 2&6, people were leaving during the first run of cars saying how slow things were going. Even though after the top flight guys went through, at stage 6 mallards pike, people were leaving in their droves even though you had loads of the clubmans to go through.

I know they changed the running order acouple of years ago because people wouldnt stay to the end to watch the lower classes but i feel this needs to change again as people wont stay to watch the better classes now which most people goto watch.

As you can see, it has frustrated me .

It's the wrong time of year to be hanging about in the woods but it stops the spectators leapfrogging the stages which is the main reason I'd suspect.

Shame really .

The delays on SS6 were caused by the stoppages earlier on. This can't be avoided without cancelling a stage to catch up.

Would you want them to cancel a stage or put up with bigger gaps between cars so the stage actually runs?
