Default Llandow 4th May

Anyone popping along to see what is on the track?

Will try and twist Gem`s arm to pop down in the afternoon for a look as work on Gem`s dad disco in the morning

I am looking at going down tomorrow afternoon, weather is looking better as well.

Gives me an idea to go and test the kitcar

mine is dark green with yellow number boards on doors-i was quite regular in llandow last year,but new hawkeye has scupperd me financially a bit this year
has ur corsa got corsa sport stickers and a c20 let in it???

what turned out to be nasty morning full of rain turned into an amazing day, little sunburned too lol

might have upset an mx5 owners but not sure he enjoyed being lapped every few laps lol

got though 2 sets tyres, need invest in toyo proxy as we kept spinning in the corners, seen couple scoobys down there, one on the track

i find maxsport rb5 very good value for money,n/s/f tyre always gets destroyed at llandow clockwise orientated track
soft rb5 way too soft,i find medium compound doesnt rip up too bad-was my m8 in black puma giving it loads ?

Need to get a slip diff in, that'll help in stopping the spinning of the wheel and saving abit of tyre.

What you spend on tyres over a couple of trackdays, you could buy a LSD.

I had a similar issue on my old pug 205 trackcar, stuck in a LSD and noticed a massive difference in grip and some saving on tyres.

yup u are so right !! if only money wasn't so much of an issue as lsd for vaux is kicking bum outa £650 ish

LSD are huge money for Vauxhall`s, tuning itself is huge money on Vauxhall`s, something I can never understand in fair compared to other makes
