Well I've decided to throw in the towel on my RA.
Having seen what's happened on someone else's build thread I've decided that building my own is probably not the best decision.

So rather than build the RA I will be selling all the parts I've acquired over the years.

I have a few CDB that will be for sale too.

The shell will get finished in new shiney paint a roll cage but that's all I will be doing.

I will be on the look out for a standard RA to keep my garage company. But standard it will stay.

I will start a for sale thread after I make a list of everything I have.

Good news and bad news this.

Good news, the new car looks fantastic, bad news is you've finally admitted defeat on the RA, it's looking sorry for itself now, would be great to see a fresh one around again like yours was at the beginning of ownership.
