Red face X reg - Corsa van help

Hello, I have a corsa van for work but the heater and display lights don't work. I went to Halfords to ask them to try a CD player in for me to see if that would work and it sort if did! There was power to the unit but it didn't light up! So the guy said there is a problem with the illumation???

The interior light doesn't work either!

I've looked at the fuses but because I don't have a fuse cover I don't know which fuse does what, tried looking up a diagram/ photo of the cover but can't find one!

Any idea what is wrong???

Thanks claire

how do you switch the lights on and off? Is it by the side of steering wheel with a speedo light dimmer like on a corsa b?

Yes it's the same, the clocks and that switch lights up but not the heater lights and the interior light!

also heater display lighting on combo vans and corsa b are small black bulbholders on rear of panel 1/4 turn into rear,if memory serves me correctly u have to take air temp and radio display scoop thing out first was real fiddly and time consuming,i would explore other avenues first -interior light bulb i think is festoon type, most motor factors will carry all bulbs u require -also vaux harness needs adapter harness and u need to swap two wires over yellow amd something i cant remember, they will have spade connectors or cd unit will lose its memory when ign is off, but halfords should know this??
