hi iv just bought a 1997 sport when i got it he sed hes just put a second hand linkage on but it think its goin agen as i can only get 1st 3rd 5th now and agen but can always get 2nd and 4th so can only think it can be the linkage? but can only find wrx 1s so jsut wondering will this fit ?

no but cant think it could be anything ells as it does go into the gears now and then

I was thinking the actual gerabox synchro's being FUBAR'd.

Where did you buy it from and did you get any history?

When you say it doesn't go into gear. Does it grind/crunch? Or do you mean that you can't physically move the gear lever into the right position?

it doesnt crunch or anything just wont move in. but i drove it today and its fine :s . and yer ill have a strut brack can do a deal with the spliter ?
