I rang bob at aztec performance and went with the kevlar pads, they dint give off too much dust and work pretty well for the road, cant comment on track use tho but for what i use them for along the twisties upon the local mountain roads they seem to be doing there job

I would go for a set of EBC Orangestuff or Bluestuff pads from personal experience or Peformance Friction pads, also worth considering are Ferodo DS2500 but I found them a bit 'wooden'.
The Kevlar pads are cheap mind, but if you like to 'push along' and will be heavy braking they will fade easily after a while.
You pays your money and makes a choice...

Don't get me wrong there is nothing at all wrong with the Kevlar pads and they are a definite step up from the standard brake pads.
But if you like riding the brakes hard then I would definitely consider a possible upgrade from the Kevlar pads.

Touch wood cannon i have not suffered with fade on the kevlars just yet i have certainly put them through thier paces along my twisties but then again i suppose i do know the road well and breaking points etc, i must say tho they are definately better than the ones that came out! They were red stuff pads and they were cracked to hell all falling apart, they would fire bits of pad off under heavy breaking and the mess they use to leave on my wheels was leas than desirable lol, like i say i wouldn like to comment on track use tho as i was told they would maybe not suffice should i wish to track it, but as for fast road use and for the money i cant quible with them, there certainly doing the job at the mo!!

I'm tempted to try some EBC NDX Bluestuff in mine next, all the reviews Ive read of them have been very good!!
I'm using Carbotech XP8s at the moment and the stopping power is amazing, but they squeal if ur not driving the car very hard regularly and also produce a massive amount of dust.

Ds2500 give off to much dust in my eyes, well they do on mine anyway, bloody white wheels shows the dust off to much.
As for fk452, cant go wrong for price, grip and wear.c i've had these for the last 3years and i'll buy them again

How are the performance frictions's on the track? I'm looking for some new pads and am hoping to do a track day so need something that can handle that plus normal road use and without squealing like hell at slow speed.

Got Pagid RS4's (AKA Pagid Blue) on mine - have the standard pre-1998 twin pot calipers - very, very good pads - I used to have Mintex 1155's on the front and I still have Mintex 1144's on the rear.
Not much dust (so far - fitted Saturday with new disks) - very quiet.
They are expensive to buy new - I didn't pay full retail price for them

The Kevlar pads are superb value for money and work very well for fast road use. Certainly our most popular selling fast road pad.
They are just £54.99 delivered
Performance Friction Z compound are pretty good, can handle light track work but are more than twice the price. EBC Bluestuff NDX would be the next step up but these are 3 times the cost.
We sell EBC, Performance Friction, Pagid, Ferrodo, Mintex etc so are happy to discuss requirement and recommend something suitable.
