Thumbs up had the car mapped with EcuTek racerom..

Went in last friday to have the car mapped at Indigo GT, and I must say I am well hapy with the results.

Changed the standard air box for a RCM induction kit no need I know I was just after a bit more sound and bling under the bonnet, de-cat centre section, hi flow cat on the downpipe, it was already a STI PPP fuel pump had been uprated, Racerom has some cracking features:

Flat Foot shifting
Launch Control
Auto Blip
Full twin maps, fuel, ignition, cam advance, throttle mapping
Gear by gear rpm limits
Gear by gear boost control

Antony and the boys were more than helpfull mapped on the rollers then out on a road test and I'am well happy with the results and I would recommend them..

Made 353 bhp with 375 ft-lbs..

Yes they can, that's called the McDonalds mode - it also allows you to do doughnuts and burnouts as well for the onlooking crowd.

I'm glad your happy with the results Lee, your Impreza remains one of the cleanest examples I've come across, just give us a call as soon as you remove a certain cat and Ant will tweak it a bit more

Sounds very interesting Lee. My car is in having the head gasket done and maybe a few other bits with Indigo GT and I'm considering the Race Rom mainly for the dual map.

Think I could get a map with 90bhp for my daily drive to work!!

Hi mate is yours the Blue mica classic..?

Yea thats the one of the attractions of the racerom duel maps, "race" all singing all dancing when you want it..

"road" for when you want to run around or commute to work to save on fuel running on low boost.

Hi Lee, no mine is the Hawkeye STI Limited (like a Spec D but not a Spec D!)

Do you live near Hengoed? I regularly see a lovely white Hawkeye around those parts.

I think I saw you on the Jubilee weekend at Cefn Hengoed being closely followed by a Classic!

I'm living in Fleur De Lis so not a million miles away from you. Might be cheeky and ask for a passenger ride to get thoughts on the map and RaceRom. Sure I could shout you a beer!!!

Dont think so Calv, it just means you dont have to lift of the throtle when changing up, ecu it drops the revs for you to match the gearing quicker than you can do it..

only tried it once and it all happens so fast..

Quick Reply: had the car mapped with EcuTek racerom..
