I have been looking at turbo timers - what are your opinions of them?

Not needed, just drive off boost for the last couple of miles to accomplish the same - the same goes as well for starting off as well.

Its why there is a warm down lap at track days and races. Turbo timers are not really needed.

I agree, pointless really, i couldn't leave my car running after parking up anyway because i couldn't lock it, so would just sit there sometimes making the turbo timer just a fancy gimik..
