Default Thank you black-hawk & his little helper

Thanks Jarvis for doing such a great job on my wheels mate, it has transformed the look of the car.

Also a big thanks to Ryan for taking the wheels and then bringing them back to me, 4 wheels in the mx5 was quite a squeeze mate :-)

I'm glad you rang me about the colour I chose lol

It's great having mates on here who are willing to help each other out ...
Mark ...

This is how far the wheels were inside the arch ....

i bought front brembo grand turismo brakes which ian and ryan kindly gave up a sunday morning to fit them, all went well until the wheels would not clear the calipers..so it was either new wheels or spacers ....new wheels was more expensive so went the cheaper option..

The wheels come out to the arch much better..

I had a little mis-hap monday evening and curbed the n/s front alloy and thats where jarvis and ryan come in to it

i'm very pleased with the outcome, my youngest boy come up this morning and thought they were new wheels lol.....

What size spacers, looks great did you fit shorter studs or just go with a 25mm ? any rubbage ?

Also did you compromise the bead pushing the tyres down to paint them like that ? mine need doing and that looks tidy !

I went with 20mm spacers.. The spacers fit onto the original hub studs and the spacers have the wheel studs built in to them ...
No rubbing at all as the wheels are 17"

With the question about breaking the tyre bead I'm sure Jarvis will be along shortly to answer that for you.

Awesome, cheers fella I assumed the stud was 25mm to clear, 20mm would be tidy on my SPec D. Good effort

I don't know what size the studs are on the original hub or the size of the studs on the spacer ...
The 20mm is the spacer width ..

Looking good Mark, did the boy tell you I put 32psi all round, I see you've put the khumo's on the rear, be prepared for some opposite lock action...., and I'm sooo glad I didn't go with your choice of metalic avacardo.
