Selling both mine and the Mrs' as I want an Sti Type R a friend is selling, and the other half wants something smaller (she has a 4x4). This starlet would be perfect for her/us to use as a daily, and the money from hers will go towards the Type R (fingers crossed ).
Ryan - it's a pain being young, but we've all being there (a few years ago for me though lol), have you tried getting a quote? The UK cars are a bit cheaper.

It's certainly no worse than buying an import with absolutely no history whatsoever.

I've done all the servicing on my car since it was 3yrs old but I book the car in and even pay labour to ensure I get an invoice and it goes on the system as being serviced, I work from a subaru tic sheet and keep all parts invoices to clarify, I hate the thought of anyone else working on my car, ocd is a terrible thing

The UK cars and the JDM WRX's have exactly the same engines, the Sti's have forged pistons but still have the same weak rods. Pretty much every tuner if talked to has said that up to 350bhp is perfectly acceptable, and many people have run UK cars over that figure for long periods of time. The gearbox is the TY754 box which is much stronger than the earlier TY752 boxes, and Harvey ran one in his 500bhp wagon, so there's no worries with that. The clutch is still a standard item and is holding up well.
