Default Aaaah f**K!

The sort out hit a bit of a wall. I am trying to change the pulleys and so far have managed to get the PAS pulley off and the Alternator is getting an impact gun on it tomorrow.

But the main pulley is proving to ba a bit of a git! I tried the method Dylan advised, brake on in reverse and give it some beans but no joy .

Borrowed a tool from Lee but the holes don't line up . It worked on his Catalunya but not on my V5 STi . Is the jap pulley a different size?

I have managed to wedge the tool on but in soon slips out and I don't want to damage the air-con radiator. I even got some heat on it with a blow torch but it's tighter than a gnats cuff.

Any help is appreciated.

i dont know the tool but when i did mine, it took about 3hrs of constant bashing to remove it.

Because of the wood key on the inside, it is a pain in the ****.

Just gotta be patient mate

long bar wedged on the chassis leg(disconnect crank sensor) and flick the ignition over for 1 second, it will loosen it and is safe.
