Right guys I may well be breaking the car in next couple of weeks, As some of you know I have been on sick from work awaiting a hospital referal but have been told today that I will be out of a job in 6 to 8 weeks. The engine has just been rebuilt, barely done 900 miles. And most other parts are fairly new aswell. Will keep updated when I know whats happening.

 

Jesus sorry to hear this Rich, didnt realise you wenr't well mate.
Hold onto her if you can afford to be a damn shame to see another one broken, especially after all the hard work you've put into her of late.

Totally gutted for you, I`ve managed to not have to sell mine, but in a different position to you.

Is there not an option of putting her off the road for a bit, and getting a crud car for driving around in??

 

Everything crossed mate. Might just have to pull it off the road for a while with a bit of luck. Time will tell.
You know what their like james, my sick pay runs out in 6/8 weeks so after that I'm no longer employed.

Rich, I've just dropped you a text with a possibility of something.

 

Go and see your doctor and tell them, as they might be able to speed up the referral. But thats not on, as I know its not that I didn`t wanna be in work my DOCTOR and CONSULTANT said I wasnt allowed lol. Yet those bumholes said I was cadging, and was nowt wrong with me forcing me back early, and then said I wasn`t allowed to go to the hospital for an appointment. Even though I looked and felt like death warmed up.

I heard SWT Neath and a few are taking on.

Have you asked them if you can take say 3 months off on unpaid leave, and then come back?? Maybe an option to ask, as you may be able to.

Yeah may be short term pain, but if they would keep your job open then would be back to your old job, or even ask if you could transfer to coaching??

The union guy with me asked if I could do it, but they turned around and said that they had too many staff, not enough routes, so no lol.

Gutted for you Rich Hang onto it as long as you can mate, it would be such a shame to see it go after such a great rebuild.

If you have a PCV licence then I can put you onto someone.

 

They're only interested in themselves, will be trying to hang on to car as long as I can though.
