In the past I've used Keith Price and API both gave me good service but I now use Ace Motorsport in Newbridge. My advise is to use one that you trust and stick with them if possible.
Oh and Dylan seems to know his way around an impreza if he's offering his services

Oil change I do myself but everything else it goes to API, well worth the trip up

Cheers guys, the reason I ask is because I made a bit of a school boy error when buying the car. It wasn't got the best service history. The garage did an oil change and check it all over (well so they said). Its not due a service until September. I want to get it done for piece of mind. So Ill the places you have recommended and get some advice.

Where abouts are you based Foz? If you can't get hold of Ace Motorsport, there's a place in Penarth called Pat Jerome Car Care, he does a bit of rallying and I've used him a few times for oil changes etc

I live in north cardiff, well Rhiwbina. Was going to try Ace motorsports. Hopefully pop up there Friday. Does anyone know where it is in Newbridge? Does say High Street but looks a bit residential on google street view.

I used to take my evo up to GT Indigo in Merthyr - top bunch of guys up there. I'll be taking the scoob up there (Once I pick it up - hopeful for the weekend). I've always had excellent service

Well that didnt go very well. Tried to phone Ace, some woman answered and didnt have a clue about Ace. So decided to just drive up there. Couldn't find it to save my life. Is the company still around? Found Chris Bowen, went in there. No one was there, wait for about 5 mins then gave up. I will try ringing Rhys tomorrow.

In Chris Bowen's you have to knock on the glass window between the reception area and the workshop.

Ace used to be underneath the Chris Bowen workshop, but have moved up.

I'll be going up on Saturday morning.
