I think it would take something very special to come anywhere near close. Most of it is down to the drivetrain I think, as they only push out 300BHP allbeit with a restrictor. No doubt a more knowledgable force will correct me if I'm wrong.

That must be a unique gearbox in your WRX, it allows for faster acceleration and then alters it's gearing to allow a higher top end speed than a 6 speed STi gearbox.

If i said in the past my car is quicker/faster than a std sti i'll stick by it, and why would'nt a 380-400bhp wrx with over 400 lbs.ft be faster than a std sti, it does go well past the 160 mph with gps to back it up, i'd put my money where my mouth is on that one.

And the theoretical top speed on my Spec C is 182mph if it were too reach it, but it would take a longer straight than the the Bagle Brook in order attain it.
Got any independent proof of this supercar beating WRX then?
I take it by 'faster' you mean top speed - as your WRX will be limited by the overall drive ratio which means that in terms of top end speed your car will always have a lower top speed than an STi with a 6 speed gearbox no matter how much power you are achieving.

No I can't bring myself to ruin your hope and dreams.
Oh yes I can come to think off it - Santa is not real, I know you will be devastated but you'll have to be strong and come to terms with it.

Next time you see him kick him firmly in the nether regions and then 'rifle' his 'sack' and take back all that he has pinched from you plus a few more goodies as is the Neeeef way.
Or you could take the alternative meaning and do something entirely different...

Just my take on the arguement would a modded one be faster - simply NO on roads like in the clip. Things like tyres, roll cage, sequential box, active diffs, composite panles, etc etc all make the rally do what its supposed to do. There is no comparison in the car or the price of building either.
