Loops I Forgot Something...
Namely that the MOT ran out on my car last month.
Took it this afternoon and it passed without a hitch or even an advisory, emissions well below levels and brakes were in the words of the tester "scarily powerful".
But the one thing that I can never figure out is we get insurance and road tax reminders and yet nothing for the MOT test.

Tis a strange one the MOT. It's one of the only things that moves with the car to the next owner. Most people insure or cancel if they sell and similarly with the Tax.
God help if the DVLA got involved.

Give yourself an I phone reminder for next year, it's an easy one to forget.

An MOT only accounts for a car being roadworthy for one day in an entire year, the other 364 days you can drive around in a death trap legally.

I thought that the twin scroll engines had better emission levels than the single scroll engines.

Good news Ty. I did the same thing with mine this year, which wasn't a bad thing as it pushed it a month further away from christmas.

Just the road tax now at the end of the month, good news on that front though - it has gone down from the £435 band down to the £245 band.

It's not a daily driver and luckily Dyfed Powys Police don't use ANPR vans, and having no MOT test is not an endorsable offence.
