Does anyone know for a Shell garage ideally en route from Bassaleg via back of Caerphilly, Ystrad Mynach, Nelson, A470 and into Merthyr.

I cant think of any except Crumlin which isn't exactly en route.

Ystrad Tesco used to do 99. It's now called "Momentum". They even have it in Ebbw Vale

Tesco in Upper Boat do a 99,Shell in crickhowell

Upper boat is the exit after nant garw as your travelling north up the A470. Tesco is the 4th turn off the roundabout and up the hill.

Is that the junction before the roundabout for Aberdare and Nelson Mike?

I just checked on google maps and see that its a bit too far south on the A470 for me. I pass around the north edge of caerphilly and join A470 at Nelson/Aberdare roundabout.

I think I'll check out Ystrad Mynach Tesco in the morning thought.
